Eye pinning can mean a lot of things, from interest in something you are doing or holding (e.g., I want your pistachio) to arousal (e.g., hey baby) to blood rage (e.g., I will separate your finger from your body). 67% chance he doesn't want to harm you is pretty good!

Maybe he remembers that I loaded him up with walnuts and Harrison’s bird food? I brought it from my house. He LOVED the walnuts. He gently took them from my hand.

I don’t have direct experience with big birds. I’d be pretty surprised if he actually remembered me from that brief positive interaction we had. I sometimes underestimate bird’s intelligence. I love birds, of course. It’s just unbelievable how smart they are.
