We need states to request us and FEMA to send us a mission assignment. So far we’ve mobilized landfill experts to Florida to help with disposal of hazardous wastes (I was supposed to lead a task force but then they found enough actual landfill experts). NC as always sent out a request for help and I have no idea why we haven't mobilized more people. Virginia is not our jurisdiction but the corresponding office in phillie has already mobilized several people in my job.

I wish, pretty sure it's coming. Something about a front coming that will keep it from going north, it's missing the wind shear right now. Yesterday they showed the spaghetti plots and almost all of them are coming right here. History says my place will be fine, just need to be prepared for power outage, but alot of people nearby are very suseptible to flooding. I'll probaly fire up the generator today and make sure it's ready to go
