So I picked up a container of Thermomorph plastic beads off of Amazon and I picked up the coloring pellets too. I make a lot of frags and tried this out today (mixed up a sweet coralline color too - one red pellet, one blue pellet)! I'm pretty impressed with the stuff. No mess, what you don't use, you can heat back up for later use, and the corals already have their polyps out--been a whole 15 minutes!
It wouldn't really work underwater, I don't think - so don't get your hopes up too high - it just sets too fast when coming in contact with the tank water. But for frag plugs - it now is in my arsenal!

I think I saw that on reefbuilders and was very intrigued because I also do a lot of fragging. I may have to get some now :)

So its like frag "epoxy" but plastic? Got a pic?

Yes. No mess. No skimmer overflows. No Superglued fingers (but I still will use superglue probably half the time at least)...too good to put down :)
This definitely has some serious potential for dry rock work aquascapes. Here's the color I wipped up. Otherwise, it hardens back to white.

That's actually pretty sweet. What a bonus not having a skimmer overflow. Once mine overflowed for 3 days lol. Used way too much.
