I re-introduced a male to my tank with 3 females after having lost one. Immediately a fight broke out with them locking mouth. Is this sorting a peeking order or will one kill the other?

I can't view the video but if the female is already transitioning it could cause the aggression. Is it a true male, color change, larger size etc. If it hasn't been that long without a male you should be good and they might just try to assert dominance over the next few days.

Looks like a territory is being invaded. I'd keep lights low to see if they remain calm

Hi @speedstar How are your anthias?
I found your thread as a fight just broke out in my tank. It is impressive to see them lock mouths and turn around each other! It happened after the lights turned off. Maybe it was quarrel about a sleeping spot?
I'm worried one might loose fins or even die. Here is the video. Did your fish calmed down? Did one transitioned to male?
