There red little things that poke out and there all over my rocks what are these and are they good or bad and how do i treat it? See it even on my snails shell

I have them too. A lot of them, we have glued a couple and broke a bunch. But they are still reproducing and irritating my corral. Yesterday we were a couple of hours from home and stopped a another lfs because our local has a bunch and isn't worried about them, anyway this guy recommend Apitasia X made by Red Sea. Has any one else tried this?
