I am starting up a moded aqueon evolve 8g nano and need some tiny lights over it and found these single leds. Will one of these work for stuff like brain corals? I am on a budget and want to spend $50 or less but still keep sps alive.

I reccomend this one. http://www.amazon.com/Wave-point-6-...&qid=1433698640&sr=8-2&keywords=wavepoint+led

I have this on our evolve 8gallon, and love the light, very bright, I have kept all kinds of lps, and soft corals with zero issues and good growth. I havent tried sps under this light, but i wouldnt doubt they will also do well if you place them towards the top of your rock work. Great light, and looks factory like it comes with the tank.

The one that I linked give you the ability to adjust the color to where you want it.
Nothing wrong with the other linked LED.

I have a light system that will keep them. I used it just upgraded bigger tank. Jbj unibody we can discuss your price at $50 just pm me

I put a 18" actinic fluorescent so I am okay for now. I will just wait for the right opportunity on craigslist or something because people get rid of fish stuff cheap when they give up.

Sounds good, though how much more cheaper can you get a used light for? I find the fixture im running on our evolve 8 pretty hard to beat for less then $40.
