These micro bubbles..

So I bought a Tunze 9001(Absolutely hate it) I've had it running for about 2 months now and I can't seem to figure out these microbubbles. Im at the point that I feel like removing this skimmer all it does is give me problems

Anything I can do? I've moved it up and down to adjust the water height and nothing.

My wife had that skimmer on fir over a year and we could never figure out how to make it stop either.

Even with those sponges it comes with still doesn't help.... I've both configurations

I believe that's the skimmer there are some DIY videos on. If it's the one, there are places of the box, where there are bubbles that escape. I believe the solution is resealing the seams
