first started with maybe 100 on the glass. Now a week later maybe 1000 including sump. Is it possible to overpopulate?? All I have is hermits snails and corals ATM I had a starry blenny. Took him back because he was just too destructive for corals. he MAY have had ick or fluke says the lfs. He had a few white flakes on his body.. are these white bugs that???

I seen a different kind in my sump as well. Looked like he swam vertically upside down I'm guessing. Not enough to get pictures though [emoji106]

I used to have those all over my tank too. I bought a couple chromis and they disappeared within a couple days.

Worried about putting fish in the tank for awhile if the store said my blenny had ick.. I don't want to give them fuel so they starve out. Which sucks but I'll just grow corals for two months or so.

Good plan, you could also look into getting a quarantine tank running and start on quarantining the next fish while you are waiting.

So in a separate tank I could nurse this fish if it had a sickness, without harming my corals with harsh chemicals and such?

If you add any corals you will have to restart your fallow period. If you think you have Ich, Velvet or Flukes, in order to starve them out you have to have no new additions (including coral and inverts) and no current FISH in the tank for 76 days. Coral and in inverts you already have can stay but no new comers.

Yes. I think @Humblefish wrote up an article about "How to Quarantine". I will get you a link.

Yah I'm not adding anything just gonna grow the corals I have . Three headed branching frogspawn which has been opening awesome with the t5/MH. 1 mushroom and a little pulsing Xenia island.

So for flukes ick and velvet. The time frame is all the same 76days for the death of all ??? Lfs fresh water dipped my blenny I had I went to the store yesterday and they said it was definitely flukes.
