Came in on a bunch of frags. Some kind of macro algea?

Does it have the potential to take over? Got three tangs - not sure if theyll keep it in check.

Tangs should eat it. I have never had it get out of control. I used it in my sump for years.

I had it for a while. It never got out of hand. I was able to just pull it out as it appeared for a couple of weeks then it stopped appearing.

Yes, it can take over and did in my tank. I did have higher nutrients. Had to get an army of urchins to get it into check. If you can dip peroxide will also kill.

My tangs would nip at it (3 different tangs) but never ate it down to the rock.
