If the tomato hosts in the bubble tip, then I wouldn't worry about it because the tomato will feed the bubble tip.

If your lighting is adequate you do not need to feed the anemone imo.

I've read that from Julian Sprung...Scott W. Williams says they're carnivores and feed...had mine about 1 1/2 weeks only...seems really good in high light and high flow...try to post a pic ...the bt seems to be growing and waving away...you say NO feeding?;Pompus

What if the nem is in a cave

If the anemone is a weakened specimen not receiving adequate light for whatever reason than yes you should offer them supplemental feedings.

They are indeed carnivores and they often accept meaty seafoods. In the wild they are not eating fish routinely. Any other fish that approaches a wild anemone is immediately chased away by residing clowns.
I only offer what does work and does not work for my tanks. I no longer keep BTA but I kept them for along time with rare feedings.

The clown will poop in the nem which feeds it. Also normally, in captivity, the clown with get food and put it in the anemone for it to eat. But like it's been said before, spot feeding isn't necessary for a bta.

Thanks everyone...great advise...

I fed my Flame anemone up until last week when it split. It was absolutely huge. the 6 line wrasse would often try and steal the shrimp from the anemone. The only technique I've managed is to place the food directly above the mouth so that gravity helps and it eats it very quickly... and chasing the 6 line with an acrylic rod if he wanders too close lol
