thiking of upgrading tank size

so I just got into hobby and tank set up about 3 months ago but I already want bigger tank. my current one is 55 gallon and im looking at a 125.. my question is would it be to harsh on my fish and coral being so new to do this already? and my sump is a ruby 30, 22 gallons I believe and my skimmer is a octo 150s would this equipment be up to par with a larger tank or would I need to upgrade equipment as well?

I was thinking that but being a nice guy im going to give the tank to my buddy who ive gotten interested in getting into the hoby lol

Do it now. The longer you wait the harsher it will be. My 90 gallon is 5 years old now and I have a 150 in the garage I’m terrified to upgrade to for fear I’ll crash all my sps colonies
