Thin Foxface

Hi guys, any ideas on the health of my foxface, hes been in the tank for a couple of years, it seems to have lost weight for no reason, still feeds fine, ive tried feeding extra with no avail (pe mysis, pellets, flake sea weed etc) it lost weight quite quickly and has looked like this for a couple of weeks, thanks for any help!

Are you offering nori on a veggie clip daily?

Have you noticed any white stringy poop?

Could have internal parasites, or just be getting old... +1 on the nori daily on a clip.

Have you added any new fish recently? May have gotten a parasite from that. If the fish is still eating but not gaining weight its a good indication a parasite exist. I would start feeding metro/focus in with his food for at least 3 weeks.

Hi, thank you for the replies, it’s a young fish as it was very small a year ago, he’s been getting algae everyday as I’ve been target feeding him since his decline, and no new fish have been added, I’ll look into metro focus as at the time of writing I have no idea what it is, thanks again
