Need help with an ID. I hadn't added anything new to my tank in a while before this showed up. First was coming out of my ricordia and now is showing up on some rocks as well. It doesn't look like it moves, it just hangs out like a feather duster.

Looked around and the only thing I can see that might be it would be a spoon worm?

Thanks, Scott

Looks like a type of macroalgae

Thanks! I have started having a little bubble algae popping up a couple of months ago as well.

If I were to get a emerald crab, do you think it would it be okay with hammer/candy-cane and some random soft corals? And get along with some hermits, a pistol shrimp, bicolor blenny, clown and cardinals?

Emerald crab may eat your bubble algae but probably won’t touch the macro runner, I would pull it off rock if possible.

With bubble algae I always manually removed them. Careful not to pop them but they are pretty easy to pop off rock. I've used my nails or a pair of tweezers. I'm not a fan of crabs just because their are so many mixed reviews and all crabs are Opportunistic feeders.
