Hey ladies and gents, new here and trying to get an ID on these strange long thin transparent green tubes I have growing amongst the green hair algae on my liverock. They have, ranging in length, one white tentacle coming from the end which you can see clearly on one within the picture. I can't find anything resembling them online and on the forums, however I'm sure there is something out there!

First, welcome to Reef2Reef!

My guess would be some kind of algae, but that's just a guess.

Here is how you get some help if you don't get responses.

Welcome to r2r ! Its a type of micro algae..cant remember the name of it...can be manually removed if bothersome.

With a little more digging I found the type of macro algae it is...

Chaetomorpha antennina!
