Hi all,

On a piece of my live rock I have what looks like a thin yellow starfish coming out of a hole or it could be a whole bunch of worms coming out the same hole. The tentacles are about 4-5mm long. I have also spotted something similar coming out of another hole. Can someone please help me ID them.

I also have what looks like a two headed worm that is a cloudy white colour. When it comes out at night from its hole the two bodies are about 1.5cm long and maybe 3-4mm thick but I've noticed once that one of the heads stretch to about 5-6cm and became quite thin until I shone a light on it and it retracted back to a shorter stump. Anyone have any ideas?

(The first 7 pics are of the yellow starfish/worms and the last 3 pics are the two headed worm)

Thank you so much in advance.

Kind regards,
Andy

1. Spaghetti/hair worm. These are harmless detritivores with multiple tentacles.

Not so sure about 2. but they may be peanut worms, also harmless detritivores.
