Think you have Ball Anemones ... but are you overfeeding... seems like a lot in photo

Ball anemones aren't harmful, stay small, are NOT like aiptasia, but if they bug you then Frank's F-aiptasia should smother them.

Defer to others if they have ID thoughts...

wouldn't hydroids have 'stalk' ... or am I just overly familiar with colonial hydroids...

reefs have so so so much diversity :)
When in the “medusae” stage they float… look up Medusa hydroids. very similar to jellyfish as it technically is in the same family… typical of new tank systems and will generally die off after a few weeks. How long has your tank been running?

I say this bc ball anemones are typically found within your live rock… the hydroids LOVE chilling on the glass. Turn all your pumps off and knock a couple off, they should start swimming around like a jelly til they find a new spot to land

My tank only has a led strip I've said it before on the apastia post I thought my lights made these impossible to keep alive I have 1 sure apastia and these have been coming around for a while now been a crazy month so I haven't asked my tanks been up since March I only have a trigger and a eel both only fed once a day but the trigger goes nuts for the brine and mysis I thought my other photo went up but it didnt its not great but my phone won't do better that's on the back of the tank the other was on the front one got ate from a sidewall because it caught some and the trigger took them both
