Thing string like worm / snake

Found this little work / snake looking thing sticking out of rocks look black and white striped and has what almost look like legs like a centipede going down it’s entire body anyone know if I should pull this guy out if he is parasitic towards coral / fish?

Looks like a brittle star leg to me. If so, it's a harmless CUC member.
