Thing thing is odd. Help with ID

It was hard and stuck to my glass.

I'm not quite certain how it managed to be stuck to the glass, but that looks like a snail operculum.

I don't know. He is almost completely flat though.

Operculums are flat... it's their door. Flip it over and grab another picture, if you could. That one looks like it belongs to one of the larger snails, like a turbo.

That's a species turbo.

Yup. It's an operculum.

I remove them, as they're a testament of how many turbos I kill.
