Hi.

I was just doing a water change and accidentally sucked my frogspawn coral up into the hose. It basically has removed all the fleshy tissue from the coral minus a bit that’s left at the base :( is there any hope?

Leave it if it were me. They can be pretty resilient. They also can pull themselves deep inside the skeleton. I see some green yet. Fingers crossed

Yeah definitely see tissue maybe place it in a little less flow and see what it looks like tomorrow afternoon. I just made mine mad so we are in the same boat. I decided to rotate the rocks in my nano and I’m pretty clumsy and was knocking things over.

Yeah.... I was using the hose from my gravel vac without the big gravel portion to suck debris off the rocks and hit the frogspawn which got sucked up into the hose lol. Definitely didn’t mean to do that one.... of course it couldn’t have been a stick which would’ve just brushed it off... it definitely still has some green in the base so I’m hoping it pulls through

Mines in a 75. I think my hose is 1/2” if I recall. Hope yours makes out ok. I knock mine over all the time. Just never vacuumed it before ;Sorry

I think it’s going to make it. Tiniest bit of extension today but the colors still there :)
