Pulled this out of my mother's tank I just dont think any light was getting to it but not sure. Think it will live? I have a fluval spec 5 I moved it to hoping it comes back. Not even sure what it is.

It’s a galaxea coral and they require high lighting and high flow. What lights are you running

Give it 3 months with some tlc and lighting. You might be shocked at how they bounce back!

Out of the water it won’t stand much of a chance. I would slowly acclimate it to higher light and a lot of flow, and you may be surprised. Once it bounces back, the regeneration rate is usually pretty exponential (as they can feed better etc)

Thanks for the fast replies everyone, so I have moved it to my spec V(it was never exposed to air) which has its original light plus a 10k led. For water flow I've upgraded the pump in the overflow to 180gph and added a second in tank for flow moving around the same rate. Hope this is enough light and water movement.
