Thinking about a Dwarf Seahorse Tank

Always been loved them, I know since they are tropical they can handle warmer water (65-80 degrees) as long as the water temp doesn't fluctuate fast...

What I'm wondering is, have any of you (mainly locally) dealt with or know of anyone that has done a dwarf seahorse tank? If you do, could you give me some feedback to their/your experience with them vs a normal SW tank?

My octogon tank in the living room was for seahorses.I had three Orange Brazilian's and one Kelloggi and they done great till I sold them to a lady in Jasper.They are very similar to a regular reef tank minus the high flow.

Do they eat frozen food? Otherwise, you'll be hatching brine shrimp and culturing some live food.

It depends on if they were tank bred. Either way, I would want to hatch brine shrimp for them.

The ones we had ate frozen missis & brine.We always have hatched brine and have been keeping adults as well just to give the fish and corals here a treat.They lose alot of nutricinal value once frozen.Tammy likes having the hatchery going and having the adults on hand.We have had them already start live breeding for us as well(shrimp that is).I do plan to get some more sea ponies soon.Remember you have to feed them several times a day.
