I have been thinking about breaking down my 220. I have been battling AEFW (I think I have gotten rid of them) and now I have bubble algae taking over everything. Plus I am tired of a $450 Utility bill every month....Anyway I am looking for a 4-6 bulb 24" T5 fixture. I have LOTS to trade from corals to equipment. Once I break the tank down I will have a lot more stuff available and will keep everybody posted if interested. I just need to get the smaller tank up and running first. I do have a 24" Ecoxotic Panorama LED fixture that I got in a package deal for sale or trade right now. They sell new for $750ish and I am looking to get $400ish out of it if anyone wants it. It has around 6 months of use on it. It is not blue enough for me and I prefer MH or T5 personally.

I'm not getting out. I'm just going to down size to a 60 cube and Lindsay's 125.

Wow. I've wondered what it'd be like to have a smaller system, but I can't complete the thought;). What would I do without $450-$550 monthly electric bills:D?

I've got a (4) bulb 36" fixture I'd be willing to trade for something (Tek) I never got the acrylic cover, so the reflectors have some build up on them from spray.

Thanks for the offer Gary but I need a 24" system. I have a couple 36" ones. LOL. The tank is 24x24. It is going to be hard to break the big one down but I am going to have to for right now. It will make a come back sometime in the future though for sure!!

$450 power bill is a drop in the bucket for a man of means such as yourself! Think about this as an opportunity to DIY an LED project. Talk to Mike and go see what he's doing. I'm interested in it myself. I'd like to go out and eyeball his work myself soon.

HAHA! I wish it was just a drop in the bucket! As for LED's I'm not a fan of them. I don't know why. I Might have to go see Mike's set up and see if it changes my mind though....

Do you still have the large Regal Tang you wanted to get rid of?

Yes. I still have it. When I tear the tank down and catch it I will let you know.

Cool thanks.I know Tammy wants it for her new prop. tank we are doing.Just give me a call if you need help.If I am available I will be glad to help.I know I could this Thursday or Friday. You know how to reach me.

No problem Jason! You know I don't work that fast. LOL. Been working for the Govt. for too long. I will be getting it done soon though and will give you a shout.

By the way Jason. How are the corals you got the other day doing? Keep those chalices on the sand for the best color under those 400's.

Wow, thats alot of electricity..... my bill last month was $350 and we had a MAJOR issue with our HVAC so we had to use the Emergency Heat. that said, we just swapped into LED's for the 180 and I can already see a difference. the tank used to draw 9 amps when the 3x250w halides were on. (this is just the lights, koralias and dart. now I am at 4.5 amps max draw. Thats pretty good if you ask me. I have around 120 LED's on the tank. Mike Helped me Build them (well he fixed the issues I was having with them, and did all the work while I watched). I hope to get pics posted soon, but the Controller for them wont be in yet so I cannot do a full brightness run.

Our light bill runs between 400 & 500 per mnth.Dave the corals are doing fine, they are Tammy's prop tank as I am fixing to do some rearranging before I put them in there.
As always thanks,I know you have some more I would like to pick up soon to add to this remoldel.LOL.I know you dont move that fast.I will be off work untill Tuesday and then I will only be working for 2 or 3 days. Then I may be back out to see my Dad.Something along those lines.
