I currently have a 150G with a 30G sump. It uses 7" filter socks and after measuring I am pretty confident that the Di-7 will fit with no issues. My question here is for those that use it, going from Socks to the Di-7 is there any more noise? The tank is in our bedroom and the sump has a cover over where the sock goes and I use a sock silencer to help out with the waterfall noise from the crashbox to the filter sock. About a day after I replace the sock its generally pretty quiet but have to replace the sock every 3 days. So just wondering since I have to remove the cover if the loudness of the water flowing into it will be worse or any better. Thanks
