awesome...i will bring some pictures of what i have so far...nothing specail but its a start lol

They're all special! Some are just bigger than others. Smaller tanks are much cheaper all around, to aqua scape, to stock, to light, etc. A smaller tank is much easier and cheaper to "grow in" and fill up with corals. A larger tank doesn't look so hot for a long time unless you buy large colonies. That gets expensive in a hurry. You can buy a decent size frag for a small tank and it looks great right away.

One thing that I would suggest though, if you want a really nice display tank don't just constantly buy frags and then turn around and sell them and replace them. Don't become enamored with buying corals just because they have a name and a high price tag. If you like a coral and think it looks good, buy it for that reason and be proud of it! Anybody that has anything negative to say about what YOU like in YOUR tank is missing the point of reefing. Don't ever treat your tank as a vanity contest. I've seen tanks that are 2 or 3 years old and look like they've been set up for 2 or 3 days instead. That's what frag tanks or frag racks are for. Lol. Those people will be the same ones to tell you your tank doesn't look good or talk about how you are so proud of your Kenya trees. Put what YOU like in YOUR tank. It's not a vanity contest.

yea you do have a very good point...the frags i bought at the frag swap i plan on keeping forever lol i only bought some the frags that i like...only reason for wanting a bigger tank is well cause i can put more coral in and also diffrnt fish as well..i am really happy with my 29 long i have right now but deffently want to upgrade down the road

Oh, for sure. We'd all like a bigger tank for one reason or another. Room for a particular fish is an excellent reason. What I was saying though was, don't sell yourself short "nothing special but it's a start". Not many of us have the same tank that we started with (I sure don't) and most of us didn't even start out with any equipment that was nice. I think out of my original setup, I'm still using 2 Koralia powerheads and my return pump!

Oh, and my live rock, most of which I made myself. I had a lot of people that told me my rock would look like crap. Most of those same people probably couldn't find the 5 or 6 pieces of "real" live rock in my tank. Never accept an answer from anyone as fact if they can't give you a better explanation than "Because that's just the way you're supposed to do it". That's usually the cover up for ignorance.
