So im thinking of the tank inhabitants for my 300 gallon 8ft long tank

so far im interested in all of these but i will have to narrow it down a little...but until then what would you guys add?! and any opinions on what i have listed?
This is my first large set up and im pretty stoked about it! so any suggestions/input is greatly appeciated!

Richmonds wrasse
Vroliks wrasse
Red lines wrasse
christmas wrasse
chisletooth wrasse
dusky wrasse
red corris wrasse
radiant wrasse

yellow belly regal
achilles tang
naso
purple tang
powder blue

pair of randalls gobies

sadddleback butterfly
copperband butterfly

midas blenny

pair of picasso clowns

if you havent noticed i really like wrasse :D

You could look at some cool fairy wrasses maybe; lineatus, golden rhomboid to name a couple. Is it a reef or FOWLR? That will help with the selection suggestions.

One thing to say about the Randalls gobies; I have a pair in my 180 and since they stay so small and keep to themselves on the sandbed they are easily lost in the big aquarium.

It's goin to be a reef
I know alot of what I listed could become a threat to inverts but I don't mind replacing a few hermits and snails every couple weeks

That's something I like about the gobies
I want it to be so there's life in all parts of the tank not just the big pretty fish but the small ones that have a job and place too.

Definitely looking into the fairy wrasses as well I love them, and i like the harem idea since they dont require the same feedig schedule as anthias!

Good list. The only one that might cause issues with corals is the saddleback butterfly. They like to eat SPS. Might want to watch out with the Achilles and Powder Blue...same genus, might fight.

I think you will be fine with the PBT and Achilles as long as they are introduced properly or at the same time.

I do think that you have too many wrasses in the same family though. You might want to narrow down your favorites of the halichoeres wrasses and only pick a couple and then expand into some others like fairy or flasher. Great list though.
