Hey guys!
I have a 4 year old tank and its been slightly neglected. A lot of dirty algae and zoa's are dying. Fish are doing good but besides that, its pretty sad to look at.

I am currently in college, going into junior year as a Comp Sci Major and I don't know if I will have the time or financial capabilities to keep up with the maintenance cost since I will be quitting my job to fully focus on school.

Probably after I graduate, I would like to come back into the hobby so should I sell my equipment and everything now and rebuy it later because I would like to go bigger than 20 gallons or sell my livestock and storage the equipment since it can be useful later?

Tank Equipment:

IM Nuvo 20

Neptune Apex

Tunze 3155 ATO

Eshopps mini skimmer

Kessil a160we light

With test kits, salt, a lot of maintenance equipment.

I would like some advice because I don't know what I should do and where to start if I were to start selling my equipment. Thanks!

If you plan on going bigger than a 20 then I would just sell the livestock and tank. Keep the rest of the stuff in storage

I personally would just sell things off and see where I'm at when time is on my side again. there's no shame in putting the hobby on hold when your heart isn't into it.
