Thinking of 3 day blackout

Any thoughts are appreciated. I’ve recently started GFO to reduce phosphate. I’m thinking of doing a 3 day blackout but I’m afraid of hurting my coral or fish. I would hate to see them starve. Any ideas are appreciated

I've never lost anything when doing a three day blackout to manage dinos. If your fish and corals are relatively healthy to begin with I wouldn't think you would have any problems. Good luck

3 days is nothing, there are storms that last nearly a week in the ocean and the reefs have survived. I wouldn't worry about that

I wouldn’t worry too much. I did it in the past and did 5 days. I did feed the fish in the mean time to make sure they are all good and kept a good eye on them. You could also move your corals to another tank if you had them. Dip them and they won’t transfer(fingers crossed) anything over.

5-7 days even safe. You can go 5-10% blue for corals but no need to
