Thinking of doing one last coral order!

Okay so things happen in life and we have to put things on the back burner for awhile. I’m in that point in my life and this tank will be on cruise control for a little while (1-2 years).

I want to add a few more corals to help fill out my tank before this happens. I have three corals in mine all from ORA. I’m thinking of getting a Hammer, Red Goni and a Duncan.

2 jebao sow4 powerheads (low power)

Alk 9-10dkh (swings over the week working on getting under control)
Calc 400
Mag 1440
Phos .03
Nitrate 3-5
Ph 7.8-8.1

I’m thinking of putting all the acans ontop of the left shelf and then that opens up the sandbed a bit. The green spot will be for the hammer, spot for Duncan and the red spot of the Goni.

Does anyone see any issues with this placement? Any words of caution or advise?

My duncans like to be near the middle and my flowerpots really seem to do great low-middle of the tank. If you place the flowerpot on the substrate, I'd try to est it on a small flat rock to keep it directly off the sand. My hammers seem to do well wherever they are.

Sounds like exactly what I plan to do.

For now I’m thinking goni on that rock to the left to give it some movement and space from other corals/glass. If it doesn’t like it there I can fine a spot on the sand for it I’m sure.

Few things happening in my life and will be calling it quits on any upgrades for at least 1-2 years. I have one coral on standby that I’ll buy in about a year but it is planned for now.

Sps are completely off the table and im going full lps now while I still have a spongodes it’s the only one I’ll have in the tank.
