I really wanted to get a gyre for my 75 gallon, but after some thinking, I want to try a lower price powerhead. I thought I would make an sps dominated system, but my wife and I fell for zoanthids. So now I want to try the dichotomous sps/zoanthids tank.

Anyways, which model of jebao would you recommend for this setup? I was thinking of starting with a pp8, but then thought I could go to a pp15 and set it to a lower setting. Anyone have experience with these pumps that could share some insight? As always, I appreciate your help :)

When clean, the RW-8 is more than enough in my 125 gallon tank, but I have two and an RW-4. They are all on about 3 or 4 when clean. If you have only one powerhead, the PP-15 should do the trick. My buddy has two in his 125 and he keeps them dialed way back.
