Thinking of going back to led

I have a 6 bulb 36" T5 fixture over my 36x18x21 57 gallon rimless and I miss that led pop. Adding supplemental LED is out of the question as I don't have a canopy nor do I want one and nor do I want to gut my fixture. I saw recently a pandora 2xT5 and led cluster led hybrid for sale but I don't think that's enough coverage? Thoughts?

Before I ran ecotech radions and loved them but decided to try T5. Great growth just no color pop except when only a few blue plus are on. I was also looking at Mitras 6200HV?

My tank is about the same dementions as yours, 36x15x24. I have one AI Hydra 52, seems to be doing great. I've had it for about 3 years.

All according to tastes I guess. More realistic of a deep environment, for what that's worth.

@Rarend99 if you like GHL, maybe check out their Lightbar2. Any config between 60 and 190 watts ought to be good, according to GHL, depending on what you want to grow and your target light levels. Though GHL's spots are sweet, you might light those Lightbar2's better than a spot-type light that will tend to cast more shadow.

I've seen led strip lights on a tank. Doesn't give pop as much as people spend money on them and use them. It just doesn't do it.

I have a rose anemone, some LPS and soft corals. I haven't tried SPS with this set up yet, but i think i have enough light.

Buy some euroquatic e5 blue pop. It actually looks better then my maxspect razor. You can see the pop with the t5 swap

In the picture the blue is only on with a gel filter to offset the blue. I have 2 blue pop and 1 ati coral + and 1 antinic bulb. But i think im going to buy 2 more euroquatic led light but waiting for the other one they are making. Really nice stuff. Last about 8yrs, less power and heat. Great spread also

As a supplement, I agree. But strips as a whole solution is different.
