They wrasse lovers ! I currently have a blue sided wrasse about 3 inches. I was thinking of adding an orange back wrasse and a rosy scale wrasse, is this a workable mix ? If now please feel free to suggest what other wrasse I can add .
Two wrasses in the same complex would be unlikely to get along well - for example, the blue-sided wrasse and orange-back wrasse, which are in the same complex. The rosy-scale would be a better mix, and when you're looking at the chart, the further apart any two boxes are, the more likely the wrasses in them are to get along. Right now, I'm QT'ing a Labouts, a hooded, a pintail and an orange-back together in a 40-breeder. That's a small tank for those fish (it's a temporary QT - they're going into a 220), and they're getting along swimmingly. No two fish from the same "box" or complex. (Previously, I had a large orange-back in a 65 with a medium-sized solorensis ... same complex ... and the solorensis' colors were just muddy.)
The chart also suggests minimum tank-sizes for each complex.
