Hello everyone,

in a previous thread I was building a new stand to start in the saltwater hobby.
Apparently the wife didn't like it and decided to order a cabinet with the same look as the rest of the room. Since its all handmade it will take a while until its finally here, probably around november. Plenty of time to think things through I guess.
Instead of putting all the equipment in the stand (and destroying it with all the moisture and salt within a year), I thought it would be neater to plumb everything towards the basement.
I've made a good oldschool drawing in paint to show you what I'm thinking of.
I would like some feedback like: which return pump would be OK and last but not least, I would like to monitor everything with a Profilux 4. So compatibility with most equipment is a must!
Also: do I need an outbreak box or something to let my DT communicate with the sumproom?

Basement sumps are a blessing to have. Here's my build thread detailing mine. I can't help you with a controller, but depending on the amount of vertical feet, you most definitely want a return pump that is pressure rated.

Thank you for the input, as I'm still thinking about how to do things, started some drawing in Sketchup.
The "utility room" would be 3,80 x 5,40 m. This is where water, electricity and gas enters the house.
I've red in different quarantine topics about air-contamination. So putting the QT tank next to the sump wouldn't be a great plan I guess. Plenty of room to have it somewhere else.

Left to right:
Some old vessels I have (blue) for probably waste water or curing rock.
The green cube would be for RO/DI water. The cabinet with the remote sump and a small frag tank or refugium?
