I made a mistake when setting up the tank and didn't leave enough gap around the edges of the rocks.

So what's the thinnest glass cleaner you can get that has a decent strong magnet and metal blade? I've got 8mm glass.

Thanks!

PS. already got the Tunze Care Nano and it's simply not strong enough to remove the weird translucent stuff I get on my glass (not coraline!) Hence asking for something with a metal blade.

Razor blade on a stick?
Hey Ratvan, you alright? Didn't know you posted over here!

I can't use a razor on a stick because the corals are in the way, there's just not enough room to get the stick at the right angle of the dangle ‍♂

edit: didn't mean to put the emoji there but it seems weirdly appropriate so it stays

The flipper is very thin on the in tank part. Want to say maybe a cm or less on the nano.

Hi Fella,

Yeah I am good. Only just recently started posting on here. Bit more traffic. :D

I just got the flipper cleaner yesterday, and it's way slimmer than my magfloat
Is that the standard model Jose?
If so is there any chance you could lay it flat on a table or something, and measure it how much it sticks up at the highest point when using the metal scraper? All I can find anywhere are the width and length, not the height ‍

It's the standard model, and I'll measure when I get home today.

I have a metal blade on my long tunze care which is one size up from nano and it’s still thin.

Just measured and the inside piece is 1/2 inch with scraper.

Edit: I'll get you the height of it now... sorry

5 inches including blade

Here's an idea. MOVE THE ROCK BACK.

there's always some wiggle room..... just go slow and watch for a potential Avalanche...which shouldnt happen if you go slow

Would if I could. The rocks are attached into a structure using epoxy. The only way would be to break them apart and chip some off. Can't do that as it's covered in coral.

Check next size up tunze care. When you go one size larger the blade goes from plastic to metal and also the magnet is rated for thicker glass also.

Just a quick update - got the standard size Flipper, it fitted where I needed it to. Job done!
Thanks for the recommendations.
