Finally got the #'s up.
Am (6:48 am) test:
Ph 7.8. Ca 375 alk 6.5
Added 100ml each of Quantum a and b I had laying around.
Pm (6:53 pm) test:
Ph 8.15. Ca 440 alk 7.0
Going to test again tomorrow morning and see what the drop off is.

I "officially" sold Princess this weekend. She will stay in my garage for the time being. Sad but needed the funds for some traveling next year. Plus when I'm ready I can just buy her back. Too tired to test tonight but will run the #'s first thing tomorrow morning.

so over the weekend when no one was home (ac was on and house closed up) the drop was only significant in my KH. There was still a drop in the ca but not "outside the range of the test kit error" going to go play around with the #s and see if i can figure out the daily drop and what i need to dose.

i am going to start moonshiners so they had some brightwell products they recommend. I had been putting bkg soda in the sump at a1TBSP for 10g but it appears that is no longer enough.

Mixed a tsp in some rodi and put it in the return chamber right before lights out. Need to get it heading in the right direction. Just got a couple Battleboxes. Sorry I couldn't wait. I know I'm gonna kick myself later but why the fork not.

Tested this am. Bkg soda had no affect on the alk or ph but it dropped my mag to 1425? Got my brightwell stuff last night so per the calculations and being conservative I dosed that this am. Will test after work to see.

It remained at 6.7 this am which i believe was what it read last night. so maybe thats my uptake amount per 12 hrs but i still need to get it over 6.7. I am retesting tonight. maybe the MG was user error. it has never been that low.

Confirmed mag was error in the test. Tested tonight:
Ph 8.0
Alk 7.7 ( right what I dosed for)
Ca 400 (likely user error again)
Mag 1500 +4 drops
Test again tomorrow am.

Had our pre trip meeting tonight for the Vaca next month. I'm starting to get excited. Fish and coral orders must be recieved by end of the week next week so I can be sure I have enough room in the luggage. And who ever has the best excuse to use at customs gets their order free.
