Third time better be the charm

We eat low carb and low sugar. I don’t eat red meat much at all anymore. Weight and being healthy is such a struggle the older I get.
We don't eat much red meat here either anymore, it just sits so heavy and we both feel dead when we do. Mostly seafood/chicken if there's any kind of meat in there in general. Lots of paella, shakshuka, quinoa bowls, etc.
 
No drinking for me. Eating has been limited to 23 points a day. Menopause will kick your butt. Oh wait you boys don't get to play that game. Lucky you.
O don't know, I've been having hot flashes lately. Or is that fever. I've been having a fever, that's it.

I wish we had more seafood. Hubbs won’t touch that or rice or green leafy veggies.

Matt makes dinners, I meal prep lunches for the work weeks. It's been harder with dinners living with his family because neither of his parents are very "adventurous" with their flavor palettes lol.

Same! He’s a “meat and taters” boy haha! I want to try all the things. He just wants chuckwagon patties and fries.

Eating healthier is hard and more expensive. We don’t eat very much processed foods at all. Whole foods mostly. If it comes in a box we don’t eat it. I’m always reading the labels. It has definitely helped us to feel and look better!

Happy solstice.
Water test Wednesday results had me stumped so I tested again today and even more stumped.

Hooked up dailies on a 5head doser. Bumped the alk up to 7ml every 2 hrs. Will test again tomorrow am.
Booked flights and pretrip hotel for May liveaboard trip. Egypt is officially cancelled for 2024 and moved to 2025. Will need to find alternate fall trip.

Alk is still in the low range 6.1 salifert. Ca 420 MG 1350. Now for some reason I can't get it up. Easy lob there. Changed dosing from baking soda to bw 8.3 before the weekend and ph is up a tad but no change in alk. Sending out icp for the shine. Maybe test is bad? Precipitating out? Will try alt test tonight.
 
They are either growing or dying. Lost one an another looks to be on its way out. Slowly though. Dipped thinking maybe bugs. Looks like a couple tiny snail shells is all that came off. Really weird.

I get hot flashes and am very moody so maybe it's male menopause :thinking-face:
