I got locked out of my parents house and had to call a locksmith to get me back in. Tomorrow was supposed to be an adventure day not today. First thing is the farmers market, and fish store to just look after.

Hubs used to be super into airsoft in his younger days, we still have some extremely powerful toys here. Luckily we haven't needed to use them against any varmints yet, but they're available if we do. There are also some very real machines in the house but that's overkill.

The rabbits in our yard haven't messed with any of the veggie gardens yet - they've been eating weeds instead. The only thing we were having issues with recently is a pair of hawks trying to get the quail. Haven't seen them since the storms started up this week though. They have a nest in one of the trees in the back of our property, but don't typically hunt in our immediate area. We noticed some HUGE brown bird of prey in the area they normally patrol (couldn't see head to determine if its a baldy or not) and that's what shifted them over to us instead. Hopefully the bigger intruder is gone now so they can go back to their normal territory and leave my girls alone.

I thought of keeping chickens for a hot second. Then realized all the things that eat them and thought better to stick to fish inside. I ran into a coyote walking down the street in the morning walking the dog one time. Then the haws, owls, coons, and free ranging cats. I don't think I would have done well.

I’ve witnessed a hawk snatch a rabbit right out of our backyard. I always keep an eye to the skies when I’m dog sitting a little dog. Try to explain that one to the owner

Farmers market this am. Soap, Sausage gravy, flowers for the neighbor for helping me get back in, a cinamon roll for tomorrows breakfast (or late night snack), groceries, fish store. done.
Modern Aquatix had a single spot fox face 70$ good size, a longnose butter fly and a blue tang both ok size and also inexpensive. May have to stop by next friday to see if they are still there. can pick up on my way out of town.

Good morning,
Ended up with just 4 sticks from the Cherry live sale last night. I have not done a Live in a really long time. Main reason is that the $$ isnt there and the cut throat level is beyond crazy. I know Cherry because they are at all the swaps here locally and I have met the guys multiple times. Each time they are great and I have gotten some of my "favorite" pieces from them. They dont over charge and the quality has always been good. Since they are close the shipping is less expensive (35 vs 50) which makes it a bit easier. I dont have a ton of room and i am also very picky about what i end get as well. This was actually a fun live, way less people then most i have been on and games were fun and interaction kept things going. I zonked out at 12 so missed the dosers i was hoping to snag but got a GC that helped with a purchase.

And my anxiety about the range has now taken over and I am opting out. I will just play at Mike's house next weekend. I don't want to feel like this around firearms and strangers. Going to try and find something else to do today.

I feel ya, haven't shot either of my last 2 rifle builds yet because ehhh idontwannagodownthere lately.

Otherwise with pellet/BB guns, used to just set up targets in the basement with a cardboard box full of newspaper (and safety glasses..)
