Those goni’s look so happy, man I wish I could find goni that wasn’t already upset over here. Maybe when I make my rounds to my furthest away LFS I’ll look at some.

One of the lfs is having a sale. All month. It's supposed to rain on Saturday so instead of the only car show I can go to (princess does not like the rain) may try to convince the man to go fish shopping.

Yup still no fish. House 1 went up for sale and I helped work on the garage cleanup this weekend in 90+ degree heat. Moving and breaking down very heavy stuff. Got dirty felt good. Got a pressure washer out of it. This coming weekend is car club picnic so that's out. It's cool I'm getting gear for the trip instead. Water test and change tomorrow then treat with Flux rx. More gha pulling tonight.
 
Busy, my weekend was just chilling and dealing with my clumsy behavior. One day I shall break out of it, or break a limb.

Glad to know things aren't going to bad. GHA has it's phases. I gotta fight some fluff on the rocks. Snails don't seem to care for it, or the blenny.

Wednesday is test day.
Salinity was oddly low 34.5 maybe due to skimmer turning on and off? Turned off completely for the Flux rx treatment. Gonna test again in the am and check around all the fittings etc for leaks. Temp was fine at 77.2.
Ph 8.3
No up to 20
Po still scary low at 1 on the hanna Gha sucking it all up?!?!
Alk 8.85 on the hanna 8.45 with salifert
Ca stable at 450
MG down a smidgen to 1470
Mover the chaeto to the frag sump.
Quiet time now.

Even if you hate gha, let it do it's job and manual removal. The fight will only last so long with a healthy tank.

I appreciate all advice!! I also agree it's there for a reason and it's not always a bad thing :) I just want to do what I can to knock it back as much as I can before labor day. The last thing I want to come home to after 2 wks at the parents is a tank full of it.
Manual removal day is set again for tomorrow. I try to do a section at a time. Little goals work better for me and I feel like I get ahead of it when I do it that way.
It will eventually burn itself out at least I hope so.
