I was really into zoas bit then realized they are great but kind of overrated. I still like them don't get me wrong. I change favorite corals every year or so.. I am not into the bouncy mushrooms too expensive for me. So my favorites are whatever I can ge thr best bang for my buck.
Finally scored an Alceopora at the swap. Had my radar tuned in for one of these for a while now.

It's nothing fancy but looks great in the tank.

Another fun mushroom. It's yellow purple and maroon.

Got the idea from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4653240 , but made this one from scratch since that one was broken. The plugs from that one will also work on this.The top should fit onto the bottom somewhat snug, but I'd still recommend that you superglue them together.I also made a mushroom...

With the frag tank gone and the rubbermaid empty I have rearranged the basement. Have the 29g set for a qt and moved a work light over the work station. Light is so under rated.

Yes I believe it helps them in case the decide to detach and blow around. I am having that issue now with a nem in my 10g office tank. So I modified a specimen cup until I can get a better solution. It's already gotten stuck in the overflow once and I'd rather not have that happen again.
