If it was me, C or D. I just like the shape of the 40s more than the 55/60 - that thin build doesn't give a lot of flexibility.

I also hate 60g long or talls.

Only issue with 40 is the light and lids won't fit. Light is too big. Egg crate for lid would work.
Edit. I have the old junky light hanger and light from the old sw tank still. 77.98 for a 40g sans discount.

40g breeder is fairly cheep. Having lights hang over the side is annoying, but... fudge.

The 60 breeder is a Fantastic size for reefs based on the footprint and how we usually aquascape them.

I'm not sure how that would translate to FW as honestly, I haven't had one, in many many years.

Think we may end up going that direction. Still on the fence on what to do. Need to drain this one the rest of the way and sleep on it. Man gets home tomorrow afternoon, need his truck and help for whatever I decide. Going to go to petco prices are better, even with my discount.

Monday funday. Kole tang is doing great eating algae off the rock like a champ. Blenny is also doing well. Swallowtail appears to have a neuro issue or possible swim bladder issue. Bob's and bucks around rather the swimming normally. Need to look into that more. Video when lights on. Trigger has been hiding since I got it. Hasn't eaten that I can tell. Dosed prazi pro per the instructions yesterday am. Going to do a second dose in 8 days. Purple fire fish is doing well in office tank. I was worried the clown was going to harass it, but seems to be ok.

THIS.. nothing in this hobby has ever gone "according to plan" for me. It drives me nuts because I am not a "go with the flow" type.. although I preach this to my oldest every single morning and night. With my new tank, I get asked what is my plan for this or that. My response is that I am not thinking ahead too much. I want to tackle one thing at a time even if it takes longer to get where I want to go.

I am a planner. Everything HAS to have a plan. I hate it and if i could change i would in a minute. I can't seem to function without one.....oh look sparkly things. Then I get miffed bc thing don't go the way I planned. Mostly because of previously mentioned sparkly things.
