Third time better be the charm

Office tank pix. Now that I will have more time I really want to focus on this tank. Clown is pretty aggressive. Will be moving the purple firefish out to main tank and replace with something. I have the lone cardinal which I love and the 2 saltwater mollies. Need a peppermint for the aptasia and some bumblebees for the worms. At least I have a plan. Sort of. Oh and the asternias are splitting in front of my eyes. Gross but cool. May leave may remove not sure.

Saturday update on Sunday: the food is a hit and Scooby-blue loves it but only when it's frozen. If I thaw it out he doesn't like it.

Water test Wednesday
Big tank low office tank high. May need to just do a quick swap of a few gallons.

Also need to set up a plan on how move fwd with the 180g. Where do I want this tank to be in 6m, a year? What is it going to take to get there? Where is the best place to spend the $$.
I started a few posts and am trying to figure things out. Do I focus on parameters (moonshiners) do I upgrade the lights (t5s) do I make it visually more appealing (hood/canopy) do I get more fish and corals? Now that I am done with job 2 I will have the time to focus on the tanks more. I really need to get that Awc thing hooked up. But my water changes are really easy. Grrrrrr first world problems. What I do know is that I need to get something this weekend for the bubble algae. I am going to grab some crabs first and see what happens. That will give me time to think some more.

How bad is the bubble algae? If they are still small manual removal could help

They are small but everywhere and I would have to scape and siphon. Need a second set of hands, but man isn't available.

I have read good things about Pitho crabs. They are less likely to go after coral.
I would place an order with reefcleaners but it's too darn hot out. Ima take my chances with the lfs, who knows I may get lucky. Don't. Say. It.

BOTH !!... ;) But what is size ?...:)

Says medium on the tang small on the ff. Contacting them now for actual size and shipping.
Trinh fish out of Bowling green KY. So hoping shipping won't be terrible.

3" Minimum on Desi , I'd say 3" min on both TBH ,much better off with size getting to eat the bubble rt away ?

That's what I'm thinking esp since the angel and trigger are at least 3 as well.

52$ ups next day. I don't know about Ups lately. Going to stick with the lfs for now and check them out this weekend. If no dice there will order next week.

I can put the foxface in the office tank till he gets bigger.

Let me know your experience with them. I follow them on fb. They always seem to have some really good things

And it's done. Shipping today fish here tomorrow. The only weird thing is they only accept zelle, apple pay and venmo.
First time ordering fish online for shipping. I hope they are worth it.
