Third time better be the charm

Asking for an explanation for my non hippie but definitely interested butt
It's the best soap I have ever tried and I am a bit of a nag champa/ patchouli snob. What kind-of explanation you lookin for? It may be like musk to squatxh so I would be careful using it if I were you.

Time to DIVE.

Digs and dinner from last night. Got the fire started and had smorkies. SMORKIES are homwmade fresh warm cookies from a camp oven from a fellow divers wife with roasted marshmallows. We're going into business. Haha. Won't lie the day wasn't great. A gentleman had a heart attack while we were there. Ems has a station 2 min away and the quarry was filled with instructors and dive masters who all know cpr and Eads. The took him by bus and then by chopper. No news so all of our thoughts were with him. It was the eriest thing I had ever seen and I hope to never ever see it again. It was a wake up call. But today we're actually going to learn what do do when that exact thing happens. Class is the open water part of stress and rescue so it's going to be a serious day for sure.
Hug your family close you never know what the day will bring.

Unloaded, hot shower, warm dinner and now sleep. Saving scuba divers is hard.
Welcome home? My daughter asked today when I'm taking her for scuba lessons...

I have lots of questions. My son and I want to start diving. I did classes once long ago. At our local pool. Did long dives across the pool and depth dives in the diving pool. Him and I want to start traveling and diving.

First rule: only dive with Becky with the Bees because now she can save us if we need it.

Do it. You will never look at your tank the same.

I also want to start diving, and it's absolutely ridiculous that I've lived surrounded by ocean and deep natural springs and all kinds of itsh my ENTIRE LIFE and have yet to do the lessons....

For me it's the pressure I'm worried about, barometric pressure is one of my migraine triggers and IDK how deep underwater pressure will affect me :thinking-face:

My parents are planning a big family trip to Hawaii next year and my daughter wants to go while we're there. It's $350 but I don't know if she'd ever go again after Hawaii. They have a $50 Intro to Scuba class that we could probably do easily.

Definately do the intro class first. If anything that will get you familiar with the gear and what it does and how to use it. It's nothing intense and that will give you a chance to see how she does. 50 is a lot cheaper then 350 to find out if she has issues not breathing through her nose.

Good question to ask you local dive shop. I have issues with the same thing when the weather changes quickly. But I don't when diving. I'm not sure if the pressures are different or what. Do the try dive class. I think that's what @F i s h y took already with his son and what @tbrown has in mind for his daughter. It's an inexpensive no obligation class in a pool to see if you have issues with any of the basics. The deepest you will go with a basic cert is 30 or 40 feet which if I remember is only 1 atmosphere. So not a terrible amount.
