Third time better be the charm

I have to say I'm disappointed in the skirting of the issue raised here. The only correct answer is "Why would you put sauce on steak??? Lightly seasoned, grilled to perfection."

Speaking of condiments: BBQ, sauce, ranch dressing, or A1 sauce?
Btw, I support BBQ sauce 100% (except Carolina), and if that makes me a one issue voter, so be it.

Putting BBQ sauce on steak is like calling a Chrysus Wrasse a Coris Wrasse...

Agreed, but I like a good steak with just a bit of salt rub :-)

Lightly seasoned, absolutely!

Alabama white BBQ sause is the best. Only bbq that is permitted. And only on chicken. Only other use of regular bbq is on pulled pork and then only small amounts for dipping, since the coleslaw moistens it up enough.

I like to dip my fries lightly in BBQ sauce NOT ketchup. Banana or otherwise. Cannot eat ketchup unless the food I'm eating it with masks the smell of it. Matt wants to make mushroom ketchup, apparently that's the "original" - but BBQ is suitable for that.

Leave steak alone. Who's adding manufactured juices to steak. Stop.

Okay, it would appear as though we agree on something else. I may consider you as my vice president...

Carolina BBQ sauce is good on chicken. Agreed. Also, BBQ sauce should be an accompaniment, not slathered on stuff thick and sticky. I make all of my own sauces. I also smoke a lot. Always dry rub w/ a mop or spray. When done properly, like a good steak, BBQ doesn't need sauce. Save for pulled pork.

How do I respond to this without TWSS or TWHS???
