Who knew knee highs can be used not only to strain bees wax but also to hold carbon for sump cups.
No I don't use most things for their originally intended purpose that's just boring.

So I went and grabbed a clam for him. He snatched it and drug I to his lair. He has expanded his kingdom to now cover all 3 rocks in the office tank.

They are in there to help out when I go on vacations. He's gotten so big I need to feed him every day. I have 10 snails in there now need to stock up and get some more. Ohhhh fish store trip hehehehe.

And they work for keeping debris out of float switches. I wrapped one in a stocking 6 years ago and haven't cleaned it. Worth all the looks I got when I was buying black stockings. I don't think anyone believed me when I told them what I was going to use them for.

well wow. hopped on the TG live sale because i got all my chores done early today and i am taking a me day. that lasted about a minute. stuff is way more expensive then i remember. now i dont feel bad only buying coral 2x a year at our local swaps. that stuff is just silly.
