What the fork universe?! Everything was FINE. Then the tank switched to feed mode at 5 and the ATO which I just filled up with 20g of water malfunctioned. The sump overflowed in the basement. All cleaned up but salinity dropped to 1.0245. Not terrible, could have been way worse. Water pooled mostly on the far rigjt corner but I still had to move a ton to get the towels to sop it up. Put a container of salt in the sump to bring salinity back up tonight. And pulled ato off so evaporation should help too. Looks like I'm not setting up the baby tank back up since I'm stealing the ato from it to replace this one. I have no clue what happened. None.

Everything. Numbers are all off since skimmer overflowed, ato malfunctioned. Things are a mess. Tested today and sent off icp test. Hope to be back in line in a week or so.

Fish are good Coral not so much. Think i am losing Pinkie. lost all of Jason's fresh cuts. Out of salt so cant do water changes. calcium, mag and Alk are in the basement thanks to the overflow of ATO. dosing up the ca and alk slowly but have no way to up the mag so ordering something from BRS to add to the mix. I knew this day would come. not calling it a crash since most of the established stuff is still hanging on but we will see. not melting down quite yet.

Thats a tough butt piece. She was with the lfs for 1 year and lived a crash. As long as she isn't losing tissue, she'll make a comeback. 25 par. Low low flow. Just like a gentle breeze.

Pancake can handle a lot.
Pinkie is more picky and doesnt like a lot of light, where pancake can be blasted. Pancakes been through all kinds of ups and downs. I've had trachys survive tank crashes before as well.

As long as they don't look like a skeleton, or skele exposed. You're safe.

Give them time to acclimate. No need to move if flow is soft. It will help them adjust.

20g water change this am. Mixing more for afternoon and evening changes. Levels still low. Except for phos/nitrate.
