After 2 weeks...

Alright, it's been 2 weeks now under the upgraded light. The acans are becoming more red and I still have algae on the sand bed and live rock.

The algae might be due heavier spot feeding, the loss of too many snails and the poor skimming I've been dealing with for the past month though. So I cleaned the skimmer, added a fresh batch of dwarf cerith snails from reefcleaner and some macroalgae frags to try and keep things under control during this time. The gracilaria already died though, so I still don't think I have a high nutrient problem...

But this pretty much means the end of frags for a very long time.. I blew my budget :-/

The Gen3 Radion is a very good upgrade though. It's been 2 months now and I'm really seeing the benefits. Everything is growing well, more extension, more color.

The only thing that hasn't done well is my poor montipora digitata frag. It's been knocked over and been stung a few too many times. Finally my wrasse jumped out of the tank when I wasn't looking. Now I'm on the lookout for another fish.
