This a good alternative for calcium reactor media?

Since TLF reborn is out of stock, thinking lf using this as alternative. what’s everyone’s take on this.

I don’t see why you couldn’t use it, however it might clog up the reactor due to it’s small size.

Not that exact brand but I’ve used similar coarse crushed coral before in my CARX without an issue. It dissolves a little quicker than the TLF stuff but works

So what makes those products somehow better than crushed coral?
Seems if it’s all the same thing (calcium carbonate) then why spend extra money

I think Dead coral skeleton is just the natural way to supplement the live one like in the ocean. Some brand media are mined with similar content that required certain ph lvl to melt and the potency is different from each brand that arent coral skeleton.

Florida crushed coral here in my second chamber. Works just fine.

Did you try the Atlantic crushed coral in your calcium reactor? If so how did it work out? What ph did it melt at? In comparison to reborn?
