This blue tang again.. is it HLLE????? HELP

Hello,
So I just turned on the lights and noticed a big white patch on my blue tang!! Does anyone know what is it or what cases this? I thought maybe it was because I did not feed yesterday so I garbed my Omega one Saltwater pellets and he ate like a pig and the white patch seemed that it got smaller. So I tried to look it up but I couldn't find anything. The closest was HLLE; but I don't think its that.

I feed Omega one Pellets - 3 times a day (daily)
Hikari Mega-Marine Algae Frozen Food (half a cube; once a day daily)
Ocean Nutrition Formula 2 frozen (half a cube ; once a day daily)
2 sheets of nori ( i did not feed nori for the past 2 days - I had none. Is it because of this???)

Frozen mysis/brine once a week

Ammonia, Nitrite 0 , Nitrate > 0.15 , PH 8.0 , Salinity 1.026 , Temp: 78.8 F

Wait also something that might help:
My eel jumped out of my tank 2 nights ago, and i put him back in the tank. All of his slime coat came off him ( at least that's what I think happened. Long White slimly stuff were coming out of his body) And at some places in his body there is a white discoloration ( on the eel). Yesterday my eel and blue tang slept together; my blue tang sleeps in a rock/cave and yesterday my eel went in there and slept. Is it possible that my eel got a disease bc he lost his slime coat and transferred it to my blue tang over night?

Its really hard to take a clear pic of him. This is the best I could. Its all the way in the back near his tail. A white patch. It got smaller since the last time I checked on him. The other side is clear.

i dont think your tang is sick mine has its moments and i get super stressed out maybe just keep an eye on it for a couple days and see where it goes from there

HLLE will be near and around his eye and the and roughly follow the black line on his back. If you look close you can see his lateral line. It is a slight indent and that follows the shape of his back.

yeah its going away. I gave him so much more nori. I think its cuz he did not eat nori for 2 days. I will keep an eye on him thanks

My hippo is always getting nicked up while sleeping in the rock. Has also had HLLE and ich. Have had her for 6 years now at least. She had to do some time at the LFS on assault charges and they had a flood. She spent the night in 1.01 water and came through it like a champ. One tough fish. Just keep feeding that food variety as much as it will eat.

She had to do some time at the LFS on assault charges and they had a flood. She spent the night in 1.01 water and came through it like a champ. One tough fish. Just keep feeding that food variety as much as it will eat.

oh wow. yeah I see. I always thought that they are very not hardy fish. So that's why I get frustrated when I see something on my blue tang lol. Thanks for the input

I've seen young ones struggle and die, but if you get them big and fat I find them pretty tough.

hey so I had a question. Is it normal that my blue tang keeps swimming against my powerhead? Like that's all he does all day. And ofc sometimes he swims around or eats nori sheets but most of the time when I look at the tank he is just swimming against it. The tank was left fallow for 6 weeks couple months ago and I treated him with copper for 30 days so I don't think its ich or velvet. Also I freshwater dip him before I put him in my DT and there was no sign of flukes. He still eats like a pig. When I put the food it usually comes out of that powerhead and he eats it. So maybe he thinks that's when the food comes from so he is always there? If that's the reason how do I change that? I don't want him to be there all the time, you know I want him to swim around more.

In my case, I believe the behavior reflects the fact that he has outgrown the tank and uses the pump like a treadmill. In your case, you might be right; he has been trained to expect some bait to shoot out of the pump.

HOLLY they are hugeeee. I just searched orange shoulder tang on YouTube and dang they are big. So I am guessing my blue tang has outgrown my tank. Which makes sense. He is in a 75 and he is pretty big.
