Bayer insecticidal to dip them in to kill the bugs. Search reef2reef on it - should take care of the problem

Black bugs - oh no !!
Bayer or dip won’t work effectively. You’ll need interceptor pill from a veterinarian- this Will stop them for sure

this product which is available off the shelf is the same ingredient as interceptor.
much easier to get ahold of than trying to get an RX from a vet.

This treats red bugs - Not black. Most any dip will get rid of red bugs. The black ones are hard as H**L to kill.

But the active ingredient in that solution IS Milbemcyn oxime which IS interceptor...

The better question is what concentration, and how much do you need to dump in to treat an entire tank.

Okay so I have vet connections because I was a tech for 7 years. The thing is interceptor is hard to get no matter what because there are better products for dogs, that being said I already have the bayer insecticide. What to do now? I have 3 small “reefs” in my 180 gallon. I could take the entire reef out to dip but I worry for my corals, I also right now have a bunch of clownfish about to hatch and they are in the side of this pests(there is a divider in my tank) I only notice 2 affected corals and that part is removable from my tank. Do I dip just that rock, do I dose the system, do I dip all the corals?

I think you dose the system. Taking individual corals out at this point is probably futile. There are a couple good threads on here on how to do it. Glad you have easy access to the pills of Milbemcyn oxime

Okay so my system is about 200 gallons so how many/ how much pills do I use?
Start with one to keep dose low and see what effect it has. You can add 1/2 pills thereafter

Before using Interceptor, be aware it will kill any shrimp or crabs in your tank as well as the bugs.

unfortunately regular dose interceptor does not work
do research on sps acro eating black bugs

As previously noted by @vetteguy53081 for some reason these black harpactoid copepods are much harder to kill than the red ones. As a side note the term 'black bugs' is unfortunately used for these copepods in the OP's photo and also a nudibranch type of critter which attacks acros and is virtually impossible to kill.
I did 3 full doses of interceptor and the little black copepods (same ones as OP) still came back. Fortunately, I caught the comeback early and it was isolated to only 2 corals. I took those out and treated with a 'dip strength' dose of interceptor (dr Gs) and that seemed to work.

So last night I took them out with a needle and syringe and placed them in a glass cup. I then took 10mls of tank water and added 0.4 mls of the bayer insecticide and they died almost instantly. Not sure if this is the bayer dip you all have but it seemed to work. I’ll post a pic and compare with your guys bayer dip. Oh and the .4 ml into 10 ml was a same broken down ratio of 10mls per 1 cup of tank water.
