Can someone help
I've seen brown jelly before and this does not look like it!
There have been no changes to the tank in months.
It looks more like a fluffy film then bjd?
Help please!

I would cut that off as soon as you can.
I just lost a 5 head branch to toxins of dinoflagellates and caused a bacterial outbreak looking identical to what I see.
Just cut it off trying not to disturb the lost heads so the bacteria does not become waterborne

Well
The genius that I am
Just sucked some off so some did get into the water.
What should I do?
Do I take all the lps out or just the messed up head and keep an eye on the rest?

I agree. Cut before it spreads. I Damaged (either bumped when moving and cleaning or stunner chalice stung it) a head of my hammer and lost one of two heads. Moves quick so sooner the better.

Going to buy some dip now
And a fragging tool
This is so upsetting
I'm cycling a 90 gallon now
I was hoping to just transfer everything is few weeks...
Typical -.-

If you have a qt tank with low flow and low light and want to dip then give a chance may work, but ive personally had no luck when they start to look this way.
Agreed!
The trick is finding the right antibacterial for the bacteria present ;)

Something similar happened to me a few months back all of my euphyllia started receding. I pulled them out dipped in coral rx. One torch and one hammer fell apart and another frogspawn never recovered. I was able to save 1 hammer 1 frogspawn and 1 torch. Losing 50% of my euphyllia was not fun! Good luck, if it were me I'd dip everything separately just to be safe.

Cjaquarium in youtube is going thru the same thing he has a video on what hes doing to stop it you should check it out
