This doesn't look right

We started adding 0.4 mL of vinegar every other day. Is that causing this? Is it bad? I know it's supposed to promote bacterial growth to use up nitrates, but I wasn't expecting orange and purple slime

Can you post a pic?

Is the purple slime cyano? That is a bacteria and your vinegar dosing could be the cause of it blooming in your tank. Consider that some people get a cyano bloom and don't dose anything to feed bacterial growth.
